Not exactly wham bam thank you ma'am, but pretty darn close. This is the first book in the series and it feels as though we are dropped into the middle of a story. Is it really a story? More like a hot mating scene. Last Call is a bar which services the supernatural community. Based on the drink a female orders, it tells the men in the bar, what she wants. She can order on or off the menu. After finding out what Kamikaze entails, I want to know what is offered OFF the menu. Zoe and Connor get it on. There is no real plot or world building or even character development. This is pure hook up sex. This book is recommended for those who enjoy a long sex scene.
