Being the outcast always looking in is a hard life. Chloe knows this first hand because she's treated as a second class citizen. She can't shift into a wolf so she's treated to a half life in the town. This is because the town is filled and run by werewolves. Jackson is the new werewolf in town. His eyes devour Chloe up and he thinks she's worth it.
This is a very light and fast read. It's enjoyable and very sweet. Ms. Fox does a lovely job of turning the "out girl" into the "in girl". There is no maliciousness in this story which is nice. The conflict is derived not from contrived misunderstandings or intentional cruelty. Instead, it's realistic to life (as much as shifters can be) and pulls the reader in for a good time. The sex in the story is steamy. As Ms. Fox states, this is story is an appetizer rather than a full meal. It is definitely an appetizer I would recommend. Recommended for paranormal lovers who enjoy a happily ever after.
