GAH! The writing is actually decent. It's not too complicated and definitely not filled with grammatical errors. It started out pretty well with a good set up. The ending was abrupt. What was disturbing was somehow I kept thinking it was some kind of tree man. Instead, it's a FREAKING 8 legged MONSTER! Yes, you know what has 8 legs. At that point I was screaming inside my head too. My arousal was snuffed out completely. I was grossed out. Yes, yes, how can tentacle sex be okay but sex with a big freaking spider not be okay? I guess one person's fetish is another person's phobia. This book is okay for me, not that enjoyable at the end. Probably a 2.5 star because it is written better than I expected. Recommended for monster lovers.
